For ppl who dont live in Toronto, let me give you a shocking news about TTC, the subway system in Toronto.

They dont have an automated announcement system installed to tell you what station the train is arriving next! Can you believe that?

When the train is running, either the operator will give a short, but blurry announcement on the station information, or there is even no announcement at all on the TTC. While in Hong Kong, the announcement is made in 3 different languages, plus you can watch news and stuff on the subway ever since a few years ago.

I thought this kind of record-playing technology to produce repeated announcement is the technology invented like 50 years ago, but apparently, this technology is finally making it's way to the Toronto public transit system in the year 2007!

I don't realize TTC doesn't have this basic technology. Van's skytrain has had this system for long time! Haha. (I guess you'll call me betrayer)
